Thai National Stem Cell Donor Registry provides training for doctors, nurses, and coordinators who have responsibility for hematopoietic stem cells from non-relative donors through the ZOOM Cloud Meetings system.

(11th May 2021) Thailand National Stem Cell Donor Registry organized a training course on hematopoietic stem cell banking for doctors, nurses, and others in 2021 for the first time via ZOOM Cloud Meetings at Pantip meeting room 2, 9th floor, Chalermprakiet Borom Rachinat in order to update the knowledge and understanding of hematopoietic stem cell transplantations to a group of medical workers from 4 hospitals that performs hematopoietic stem cell extraction and 5 hospitals that performs hematopoietic stem cell transplant such as requesting hematopoietic stem cells from non-relative donors from the National Blood Center according to the standards of the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA). There is also information on Peripheral venous assessment for Peripheral Blood Stem cells which is expected to result in a reduction in the number of catheters inserted for optimal donor safety as well as exchanging knowledge and sharing experiences in hematopoietic stem cell banking with 70 doctors, nurses and hospital coordinators who were interested in attending the training.
